Kick it …

Posted by Tiffany Cooper

… Today I want to remind you that you are a strong woman of God. In Christ, you are a woman of strength and courage. There is no obstacle that can overtake you. Even though your circumstances may seem overwhelming and the situation hopeless, God will uphold you. Take your focus off of your obstacle and focus on God, your deliverer. Stop giving power to the adversity in your life and believe that God, your rock, is bigger.

Friends, KICK the attitude of defeat in the face and say, “No more!” Don’t let the enemy sneak in and steal your joy, your confidence and your unshakable faith. Stand strong in the promises of God! Believe His promises, speak them, and throw them in the face of adversity.

5 Verses for Women of STRENGTH and COURAGE:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

“Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen!” Jude 1:24-25

this is my very first time on your site/blog and i’m so very happy to have happened upon it! wow…. this post completely energized and inspired me. thank you so much…. women in the spotlight can often be (wrongly) perceived as perfect. it’s an incredible balancing act we perform trying to remain real and relevant but maintain composure and a sense of professionalism on the platform. it’s a big job. it’s a great job… but one that requires an enormous amount of behind-the-scenes reality checks and prayer. thanks so much for the boost tonight:)

I’m so thrilled that you found our site!!! It means so so much to me that you felt inspired b/c you have been a huge inspiration in my life…I played “Jesus in my Life” (and a lot of your other songs) on repeat and I have followed your ministry since the 90’s and thank God for you.

You are right on…it is a balancing act. Some days we do better than others. It’s a big role, a privilege, and sometimes overwhelming…that’s where the “reality checks and prayer” come in and keep up on track!
Thanks for sharing! As women in ministry, we are in this together!!!

I’m so glad you felt encouraged. We all need encouragement…and the reminder that we’re not in this alone, God is with us! That’s one thing I love about our community of women at L&L It…we are here for each other!
    Thanks so much for sharing,
