Thirty Something

Apparently October 5th is the day on which the most births occur. I guess it is the most popular birthday.

I know about a zillion people with birthdays the first week of October. Yep, it is all of us New Year babies. Does that gross you out? Well not as much as it does me to think about it. But there it is.

Today, I … along with millions of other people … am turning another year older. Today, I’m 34.

34.

Now, officially in my mid-thirties.

I remember when I thought people in their thirties were super old. Remember the show “Thirty Something?” Those people seemed ancient to me.

Here I am … thirty something. I don’t feel old. And I hope I don’t look old. In fact, thirty-something is feeling pretty good.

So, everyone, how old are you? Don’t be shy. Say it loud and proud!

I am proud to say that I am 32. I thought I would feel so old in my thirties but I still feel like that 20 year old who is still figuring things out:-) I don’t think I look any older either until I see pictures of myself at 20 and realize I have aged. But it’s all good. I love the thirties!

A Super Big Happy Birthday to you Lori! I know it’s going to be a great year for you!

Happy, happy birthday Lori! Hope it’s not only a great day, but a great year.

I just turned 32 in August and all I can think is “I’m almost in my mid-thirties! Ahhhh!”

    Happy Birthday!
Yeah… the longer we live the younger “old” becomes.
I’m in my 40’s and geez, it’s quite young!

Wishing you a wonderful year filled with God’s blessings and wonderful opportunities for growth and lasting memories!

I’m 33. Got a haircut the other day and she found THREE GRAY HAIRS. Depressing. 🙂

Hope you have a fun day!

Yay for you Lori!!! I just turned 38 and I’m feeling better than ever really! Exercising for a living doesn’t hurt, but I tell ya, I thought I’d be feeling lots older at this age than I do. The big downfall for me??? The wrinkles/laugh lines that stay even when I’m not smiling!! Bummer, but my husband loves them and says it makes me who I am @ 38!!

Happy Birthday! I am 25 and a 1/2! Come February, I will be a year closer to 30. I do agree, 30 used to seem so old to me, and now I keep telling myself, it is the new 20, right? Have a great day!

Happy Birthday! I am 29 and must admit I’ve been getting a little nervous the closer I get to the big 30. I definately don’t think the thirties are old anymore!

    Happy Birthday, Lori!

I am 41 … I think … I have been known to forget how old I am. Once even getting into an argument with my husband about it until he said “Call your mother and ask her how old you are.” LOL … see what you have to look forward to!

Happy birthday! I know 2 other people who are celebrating today!
I’m 32. I, too, used to think that people in their 30s were old and uncute. But I’ve found a lot of peace and freedom to just be who I am in my 30s. It’s pretty great.
I do feel pressure to accomplish some of my life’s to-do list by the time I’m 40… ’cause then I’ll just be too old … 😉
