Leading and Loving It is a ministry dedicated to equipping, connecting, and impacting pastors’ wives and women in ministry. We hope to encourage healthy women and therefore healthy marriages, healthy families, and healthy ministries.
Meet the Lead Team:
Lori Wilhite serves alongside her husband Jud who is the Senior Pastor at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas. They love getting to be part of God changing Sin City into Grace City. She is the founder of Leading and Loving It and is also the co-author of Leading and Loving It: Encouragement for Pastors’ Wives and Women in Leadership.
They have two kids Emma and Ethan. They also have the world’s cutest bulldog, Roxy. She’s slightly Jane Austen obsessed and should buy stock in Starbucks since Chai-tea Lattes are a necessity.

Brandi Wilson is married to Pete who’s the Senior Pastor at Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Cross Point was planted in the fall of 2002 and is a multi-site church.She is also the co-author of Leading and Loving It: Encouragement for Pastors’ Wives and Women in Leadership.
Pete and Brandi have three boys- Jett, Gage, and Brewer. When Brandi isn’t wrangling boys she enjoys reading, hiking, social-networking, and spending time with friends.

Mardia Lira was born in Durango, Mexico. She traveled around Latin America alongside her husband, Edgar, bringing hope and the message of the cross through music. Mardia and her family moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2010 to partner with Central Christian Church starting Link Central.tv, a relevant Spanish speaking church.
Mardia is the founder of Dirigiendo Con Amor, the Spanish arm of Leading and Loving It. Together Edgar and Mardia have two beautiful girls, Demi and Miley.
Mardia loves casual walks with her hubby, and a good cup of coffee.
Cindy Beall is a writer, speaker and mentor to women. She and her husband, Chris, speak openly about their difficult journey through Chris’ infidelity and pornography addiction that nearly destroyed their marriage and ministry. Chris is the Oklahoma City Campus Pastor at LifeChurch.tv and Cindy serves alongside him.
Chris and Cindy have three sons between them, which means there is very little pink in their home and a plethora of air soft guns and camouflage. Cindy loves quiet mornings with her husband, the belly laughs of her sons, Mexican food, and Texas Longhorn football.

Bil and Jessica Cornelius planted Bay Area Fellowship in 1998 in Corpus Christi, TX. They also mentor Church Planters and their wives.
They have three kids: Mason, Cole, and Sophie. Jessica enjoys spending time with family, decorating, traveling, reading about leadership in ministry, talking with her friends, and finding ways to encourage people.

Jenni Clayville serves as the Worship & Creative Arts Pastor at Paseo Christian Church, a church plant in El Paso, Texas. In 2006, Jenni chose to step into an affair that lasted over 2 years. But Brian & Jenni worked hard, and against all odds, not only survived, but are now thriving in their marriage, walking in redemption and restoration. To read more of her story, simply click here.
Brian and Jenni have two sons: Chance & Paxton. When Jenni isn’t busy being the CEO of their home and working, she enjoys reading, writing, CrossFitting, and cooking for her friends. Jenni also serves on the POTSC staff as the Second Chance Coaching Director and also coaches alongside her husband on the RefineUs CoachUs Team.

Trisha and Justin Davis have a ministry called Refine Our Marriage and Justin serves part time with CrossPoint Church in Nashville, TN. They share their story as well as the 8 Things That Destroyed Their Marriage and the 8 Things That Restored Their Marriage on their blog. Their first book, Beyond Ordinary, releases January 8, 2013.

Laryssa Toomer is the wife of Jeff Toomer who is the Lead Pastor of theTransit, in the DC metro area. They have been married 19 years and have three children—Jonathan, David, and Zoe. An Army wife during her husband’s military officer career and back-to-back deployments, Laryssa developed much of her leadership experience by caring for him, her family, and soldiers’ families. She enjoys lots of laughter, fitness, coffee, and sharing the transforming power of Jesus in everyday life.

Tamera Ford and her husband Chuck Ford are the Lead Pastors at Relate Church in Byram, Mississippi. Chuck and Tamera have been pastoring in the same church for 20 years. In 2010, they relaunched their church, starting with a fresh vision and direction. Tamera has served in every role from Children’s Director to Music Minister, marriage counseling to preaching. She is passionate about building the kingdom of God through the local church and encouraging Pastors’ Wives to finish their race strong. She fills her days homeschooling their two children Sydney and Luke and leading the Creative Team of Relate Church. Tamera loves laughing, spontaneous dates with the hubs, coffee with girlfriends, and sharing the life changing power of the word of God.

Chris and Liz Sarno founded Relevant Church in 2004 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Liz serves as the ministry administrator (which really means she does a little bit of everything!) overseeing operations for the Church, Chris Sarno Ministries and The International Bible Training Center.
Three beautiful children, Lauren, Luca and Giana and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Samson round out the Sarno household. When Liz isn’t working at the church, she enjoys reading, writing, songwriting, shopping, and going to the beach. She is passionate about helping people realize their potential in Christ and helping equip them to fulfill their God-given purpose.

David and Lisa Hughes have been at Church by the Glades in South Florida, where David serves as Senior Pastor, since 1998.

Heather Palacios is married to Raul and together, they are raising two little world-changers, DJ and Andy. Raul and Heather are honored to be part of the Church by the Glades team in Coral, Springs, Florida under the awesome leadership of David and Lisa Hughes. Heather is also founder of “WondHerful” an online venue dedicated to helping people be encouraged and laugh a little more. Heather is a prodigal daughter, who still can’t believe the Father took her back, after the wayward life she led. Ever since her return, she wakes up grateful He loves her and ready to make Him smile!

Emily Cummins is a University of Florida & College of Central Florida alumnus who is passionate about storytelling, connecting people & making a good cup of coffee. Emily is the Associate Director of Communications & Branding at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, and partners with churches nationally to discover and implement their voice on social media. If you can’t find her tweeting, you can probably find her instagramming…or researching what the latest iPhone app has to offer.
Joy Cannis is married to Chris, the Production Director at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA. She is a full time photographer, writer and speaker. She integrates her art with her writing to create a visual depiction of her message. Her main topic is beauty and the way we define it. After surviving a 12 year eating disorder and celebrating 11 years in recovery from substance abuse, she enjoys speaking with people from all walk-of-life about her experience, strength and hope. Born a “preacher’s kid” she is the youngest of three girls, a self proclaimed “daddy’s girl,” a lover of words, photographer of much, follower of Christ, seeker of truth and a believer in Heaven. She makes gratitude a priority and strives to be a sources of infectious encouragement.

Linda Seidler and her husband, Tim, are senior pastors of The Experience Church in Ohio. They’ve been partners in ministry for almost 15 years and now serve and lead their church in a balanced, yet dynamic way. Linda is a guest blogger and also writes at LindaSeidler.com with inspiring tips and encouraging posts to help motivate others in their daily lives. She is a champion of today’s women and uses her voice to encourage others to emerge and believe in who God has created them to be and that with him, anything is possible.
Linda and Tim met at 15, became high school sweethearts and have been married for 25 years. They are parents of three beautiful daughters, Betsy, Larissa and Katyn.

When Stephanie Shouse met Jeff at Bible college she only agreed to date him because he promised he was not planning to be a pastor. God had a good laugh, then called Jeff to pastor. They’ve been in ministry together for more than 17 years and have served in churches in New Orleans, Kentucky, and currently in Illinois.
They have two teenage daughters who serve in the church alongside them and an English bulldog named, Ruby, who snores a lot. Stephanie has a heart for encouraging other pastors’ wives- especially those in small churches and manages the Facebook portion of Leading & Loving It.
Tammy Sabourin and her husband Jason are senior pastors at Hope Community Church located just east of Toronto, ON in Canada. Together, they have served in pastoral and non-profit leadership roles for 7 years. They have two children, Bria & Blaise. Tammy is a community activist, passionate about social justice issues and encouraging women in leadership. She appreciates a good thrift shop and DIY project. Tammy also enjoys connecting with others through social media and oversees the Pinterest page for Leading & Loving It.
